DayTripster is an award-winning Finnish mobile application that combines value rich travel guides with ease of use and fun technology. The application includes content in Finnish, English, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese.
DayTripster has won several awards: in 2017 the Helsingin Sanomat Foundation media innovation competition and in 2018 the Visit Finland digital innovation award. In 2018 the application was chosen as Finland’s best travel and culture product by the United Nations World Sustainability Award and came among the 16 best in the world in that category.
In addition to Finland, DayTripster takes you to Sweden, Iceland, Estonia, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, USA, Japan and Singapore.

We collaborate on content for the DayTripster application with cities, municipalities, non-profit organizations and businesses, for example by making custom tours. Our partners can also communicate offers in real time through our application.
One popular product in DayTripster is an audio tour. Tripsteri produces and/or edits the texts and voice content. This is a great way to save resources and support customers in foreign languages such as Spanish, Chinese or Japanese. TRIPSTERI PRINTED TRAVEL GUIDES
Tripsteri’s writers are former Mondo’s (magazine & travel guide publishing) journalists. Tripsteri has published, in collaboration with Readme.fi (affiliate of WSOY), over 15 printed city guides, with more coming in 2022. The books are written in Finnish by writers who live or have spent significant amount of time in the destinations. Destinations include Iceland, Barcelona, Rome, Paris, Thailand, Berlin, Ireland, California, London, Prague, New York, Tokyo, Lisbon, Scotland, Costa Brava and Copenhagen. In 2022 Tripsteri will publish guides for Norway, Tallinn, Stockholm, Costa del Sol and the Canary Islands.
